                                         Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide young children with a joyful and nurturing learning environment where they are free to explore and discover many different aspects of their world.  We promote and encourage the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of each young child through our flexible yet consistent schedule and hands-on curriculum.  Children will learn through repeated experiences, socialization, dramatic play, interactions with people and materials, and natural learning experiences and situations.  We maintain an exceptionally caring and knowledgeable teaching staff committed to the pursuit of life-long learning.  We provide our staff with immutable resources necessary to do their job well.  We partner with families to develop secure and enthusiastic young learners by encouraging families to participate in preschool activities such as field trips, celebration days, and class projects.  We promise to maintain effective communication with parents/guardians regarding the program, activities, necessary information, and concerns.

At Discovery Learning Center - Mays Landing, Inc., you can rest assured that your child is in safe care.  We have a state-of-the -art security system to insure the safety of the children and to inhibit unwanted visitors from entering the building.
